In the light of the current outbreak of the new Coronovirus, I have had to change the way I deliver the counselling service to you, my valued clients. We have to put our safety as a high priority and so I will only be offering the Online Counselling until further notice.
As of your next session, sessions will take place online. I understand this is not ideal, but it is necessary and wise to take precautions in the light of the outbreak. We all need to restrict our physical movements and “Stay at Home” as much as we possibly can. This does not mean we have to neglect ourselves or our mental health and I will continue to offer my services though it will be through a virtual platform only for the time being. I am still available to support you as much as possible and together we can all get through this difficult time.
We can participate in online sessions by using either Zoom, or Skype. Please let me know your preference when we arrange your session. Further instructions on using Zoom or Skype are available.
You may wish to make sure you are comfortable and in a location where you have privacy before we start your online session.
Keep Safe and Well, and “Stay at Home”.
BACP Accredited Therapist
As a BACP registered and Accredited Psychotherapist with ten years experience, I have a range of tools to support young people and adults, one to one, in couples and group dynamics.
Often in life we can become overwhelmed by emotional difficulties, leading to negative feelings which are hard to deal with, especially when we have busy lives to tend to every day.
Attending counselling for the first time may be a difficult step for some because of possible feelings of stigma, vulnerability or perhaps that there is something wrong with you because of the way you are feeling. Not knowing what to expect or how to go about addressing things can also add to the problem.
I provide a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment where together we will look to establish your needs and find a way forward tailored to you. Inside Matters Counselling is about ‘Facilitating Growth and Change’ in order to become the person we were always meant to be. Once we can fully understand why we are the way we are, we can look to diminish unhelpful beliefs that prevent us from living our life and ultimately being happy.

How counselling can help me:
My approach to whatever anyone brings to counselling is that it is a manifestation or symptom of something underlying. Therefore I am open to discuss any issues you may be experiencing and I will signpost you to any further support needed if necessary. Some of the typical symptoms people experience are:
- Self esteem
- Obsessive behaviour
- Personal development
I work from 3 different locations across East Sussex including Eastbourne, Brighton and Hove. All locations are within walking distance of public transport. Session fees vary between locations.
